This
working farm in a beautiful valley setting doubles as a Tyrolean hotel located
only 10 minutes from Neuschwanstein castle. The country setting is
peaceful with animals grazing in surrounding pastures. There is a walking
path, that was part of an ancient Roman trade route, through the property
leading over the Alps into Germany. Hermann, the owner, and his family are
very attentive and their small bar attracts locals in the evening. Down
filled comforters and pillows top pine beds in the clean attractive rooms.
Notes- If possible, request a room with a balcony, our favorites are 33 and 35. Although this is a relatively small hotel, the owner works with small groups. Mountain bikes are available for rent. If you are up for a nice hike, you can walk over the Alps to visit Neuschwanstein Castle. Please make no mistake about it, this is a farm, there are animals and sometimes bugs too!
