Details-
This hotel is worth every penny you
pay for its prime location in Salzburg and inventive decor. Rooms range from ultra
modern suites incorporating etched glass walls and beautiful plumbing
fixtures, to simple single person rooms. Everywhere art abounds, even in
the tiny elevator. The restaurant and bar, also used for breakfast, offer
the charm of old architecture balanced with impeccable style and
modernity. There is an outdoor eating garden at the rear entrance, and the
main shopping street is at the front. Free internet is available on an
I-Mac at the side of the front desk, and English is spoken. Each floor has
been given a name, and has a small vestibule area near the staircase and
elevator. The rooms are of medium size, all differently furnished and
uniquely detailed. The Junior Suite # 228 is a knock-out with a wall of windows
opening onto a private courtyard and a bath right out of an upscale showroom.
Notes- For a single traveler, the Max Reinhardt room # 104 is a study in modern efficiency. The Don Giovanni #222 and the suite mentioned earlier are our favorites, if you would like a splurge.
