Details- The Hotel Leonardo is located in the heart of Cesky Krumlov, just a short distance to the main square, and an easy walk to the castle. There are many pubs, shops, and restaurants very close by. The building dates back to the 16th Century and was recently renovated to become a hotel, but the old world charm remains. In fact, this is our favorite old world hotel in Cesky Krumlov. The lobby is not designed for lingering, but it does offer a small computer with access to the internet. A quaint breakfast room does double duty as a sitting room after the morning meal. If you are driving, the hotel offers free parking nearby. It is important to note that while heat waves are not the norm, the hotel is not air conditioned.

Notes- In all there are eight doubles and three wonderful suites in Hotel Leonardo. The cozy rooms are smartly color coordinated and include antiques and hardwood floors. The suites are very affordable and spacious. These rooms include a nice sitting area, desk and chair, and a large TV with DVD player. The bathrooms are average size with new fixtures and hairdryers. Some offer tubs while others have showers. The bathroom amenities (soap and shampoo) are a little weak, and when we visited the desk attendant was a little gruff.
