Details- The name Hotel U Karlova mostu means the hotel at Charles Bridge. This is an accurate name for a hotel that is located only a 2 minute walk to the bridge, a great location on a tree lined square. Some rooms facing the rear of the hotel have views of Charles Bridge, the Vlatva River and the National Theater. These same rooms also look out over the hotel's beer garden which is open until midnight. Keep this in mind if you turn in early. The hotel offers 2 pubs and the beer garden which serve excellent typical Czech cuisine. There is free internet access available at the reception.

Notes- In all there are 26 rooms in the hotel. Four of these rooms are suites (for 2 people) that are located on the top floor. The typical double rooms are nicely appointed with lots of old world touches and are average size. All include satellite TV, minibar and a safe, and the four spacious suites also have air conditioning. If all of the rooms were like the suites, the hotel would have received a higher score - its biggest downfall is the lack of an elevator and the extremely tiny bathrooms.
