Details- The Hotel U Pàva is located on a small square in the Kampa Island just steps from Charles Bridge. This is an ideal location that is very central to all the sights in town. The hotel's public spaces are beautifully decorated with old world pieces including rich tapestries and wall paintings. There is a very small intimate restaurant and wine cave in the cellar of the building. After a long day of walking in Prague you might also enjoy time in the Sauna or whirlpool. During our visit the hotel's staff was very attentive to guests, offering to help arrange tours or private guides, etc.

Notes- The 27 rooms are divided into 3 categories; suites, deluxe and standard. The suites and the deluxe rooms are quite beautiful and are filled with antique furnishings, fireplaces and special touches such as murals or wood beamed ceilings. These rooms also have air-conditioning and are accessible by an elevator. The standard rooms are not very impressive. Our overall rating of this hotel would be much higher if it were not for the standard rooms. We advise a splurge here, upgrade to the deluxe or a suite, you won't regret it.
