Details- This small hotel is located in a former 17th century postal stable and house. The hotel has a lovely enclosed courtyard with wonderful views of the Chateau of Mello. While the town of Mello does not have a lot of appeal to the average traveler, it is in a country setting very close to the Chateau and Grand stables of the town of Chantilly. Each of the 14 rooms (named for a famous artist) are well maintained and include modern furnishings and bathrooms. Some of the rooms face the street which can be a bit noisy while others face the courtyard. The hotel has a charming restaurant offering typical French cuisine.

Notes- This hotel is only about 30 minutes from the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, making it a wonderful first or last night in France. The Renoir room, facing the courtyard, is larger and can accommodate 3. The Van Gogh room, also facing the courtyard, has an upper loft allowing it to accommodate up to 4. Overall the hotel is an excellent value! If there are just 2 of you traveling, consider a splurge and request one of the larger rooms which cost a bit more than the others. The hotel has enclosed parking and offers a demi-pension plan, which is well worth it.
