Details- We like that this hotel is located in the heart of Epernay, and has a very highly rated restaurant. From it you can walk to a variety of other restaurants and shops, but the main champagne cellars are a longer walk on a rather uninteresting road or a (preferred) short drive away. The hotel offers 29 rooms at very reasonable prices. Some of the rooms have interesting details including wood beam ceilings while others are quite generic. We recommend that you request a superior room since the regular rooms are just too simple. The hotel also has a large lounge featuring an American bar and the fine restaurant that has received good reviews.

Notes- This is not our favorite pick in Epernay, but if you are on a budget, this is a fine option. We've included it in our recommendations for its restaurant, location, rooms that can accommodate a family of four, and the fact that our other recommendation is quite small and often sold out in advance.
