Details- This property, located near Pont du Gard, was a 17th Century postal station and later a farm house. Today it is a charming hotel with 28 rooms and a 'gastronomic' restaurant. You enter a central courtyard through a stone wall surrounding the horse shoe shaped complex. To the right you find the reception lobby, that is rich with wood. There is a large fireplace and a house dog to greet you. From here you have access to the rooms and suites all decorated in Provencal style that include TV, mini bar, phone and air conditioning. Many of the rooms have beautiful wood beam ceilings. The rooms range in size with prices that match. We recommend that you splurge and get one of the spacious suites, rooms with balconies or the family apartment. Our favorites are #8 with a separate entrance and fireplace or #31 which has beautiful yellow fabrics and walls with a bear claw tub.

Notes- The hotel's restaurant serves both lunch and dinner. In summer meals featuring meats from the outdoor grill and salads are served around the pool. There is also a wine bar located in the complex with views into another enclosed courtyard. This courtyard has farm equipment (junk) turned into interesting conversation pieces.
