Details-
The Bleibtreu is another unusual hotel in the amazing city of
Berlin. The name of the hotel means to "stay true" or
"remain conscientious" and this hotel has really done it in there own
way. Berlin is a revitalized city and this hotel offers a glimpse
into one aspect of its personality. Located in the shopping area know as
KuDamm the hotel has a very distinctive design style. The main
floor of the hotel has a restaurant, espresso bar, florist and small check
in desk. The 60 rooms are located on the floors above.
Notes-
Don't despair at the non-descript halls because they lead to something different! As a general
rule the rooms are not particularly spacious but are all excellent examples in the
efficient use of space. Small built in gadgets such as fold down desks, TVs
on brackets that can lifted up or down and closets tucked into tight
corners are the norm...add to that a post modern, very hip, 60s neo-psychedelic,
almost IKEA but really more Italian design sensibility. I think
after reading that, you'll know if
this hotel is for you or not! The bathrooms are quite small. Note that the superior rooms are slightly larger and have
tubs, all others only have a small shower.
