This
hotel - brewery is located in the Old Town of Heidelberg within an easy walk to
all the sights in town. The property is made up of three buildings, the
reception area, the rooms and the adjacent brewery restaurant. These buildings date back to the
1200s and beer has been brewed here for hundreds of years. A recent
renovation has resulted in a very charming 21 room hotel.
The rooms are all quite comfortable and modern with a sunny yellow faux finish paint on the walls. Beautiful hardwood floors are used throughout the rooms and halls. The furniture in the rooms is painted white with yellow trim so that each piece matches. Most rooms offer twin beds that are put together to make a queen, with down comforters typical of the region in crisp white linins for each person. The bathrooms are modern with tubs that have folding glass walls and hand showers.
Notes- The rooms have all the amenities you will need including armoires, luggage racks, safes, and a mini fridge. Rooms on the upper floor offer larger windows. The brewery serves lunch and dinner and is a hot spot in the evening. During the summer the courtyard is turned into a beer garden.
