Details-
This hotel is a former private mansion located in
a quiet residential neighborhood. Located near the Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest
grounds), it is a 5 minute walk to a U-Bahn stop but about 15-20 minutes to
walk to the main sights in Munich. The hotel employees are all very kind
and the hotel caters to a mix of tourists and business clientele. The
rooms vary in size and decoration, some are very simple while others have
beautiful furniture. For the best result ask for a superior room or a
junior suite. While these rooms are not listed in there actual rates, it
will increase your chance of getting a larger room. The rooms offer
all the amenities you could need, including data ports for a computer. The
lobby also has a separate room for internet access, and guests can receive emails
at the hotel as well as send them. The breakfast room is a darling
room with wood booths and tables. The breakfast spread is a highlight.
Notes-
The hotel offers free parking and free bikes for the guests to use.
For a special room, ask for our favorites; 4, 14 or 15. The hotel offers
better rates for weekend stays. If you plan to visit for Oktoberfest, a three
night minimum and full prepayment is required. You must book far in advance for the huge
beer drinking festival.
Quotes- “This has long
been a favorite of ours in Munich, the biggest drawback is the distance to the
main sights, but if you use the convenient U-Bahn, its an easy thing to
overlook." Steven
