Details-
Our usual goal is to find a small family run hotel with Old World charm in city
centers. In Nuremberg, because of the destruction of WWII, it is a
difficult thing to do. This choice is right next to the Medieval city wall
and the ancestral home of the artist Albrecht Durer. This puts it steps
away from some of the most charming sections of the old town. The 105
rooms are functionally generic, clean and light. The staff is friendly and
helpful, and the clientele is made up primarily of people in town on business,
rather than tourists. The
indoor swimming pool of a nearby affiliate property can be used when staying here.
Notes-
The hotel is in a great part of the old town near the castle.
Quotes- “This is about as
generic a hotel as we will recommend. The lobby promises some design
excitement, but the generic rooms don't deliver." Roger Tinsman, December
2002
