Details – If the pleasant gardens and lovely pool just steps away from the main square in town don't charm you, then the blue and white tile floors, antique furniture pieces and crisp white walls will.  This hotel is just steps away from the cafes and shops that are part of Capri's lure.  At this price range, it is very difficult to find such a well placed and charming property.  Smaller rooms lack balconies or terraces, but the public veranda, garden and pool make up for these minor shortcomings.  All 20 rooms are air conditioned and have all the amenities you will need (TV, mini bar, private bath).

Notes-  While not cheap, compared to the exorbitant prices on this very special island, this hotel is a good value.  You must reserve far in advance if you are coming in the summer months.  The hotel is open year round and offers even greater value during off-season.  This is rated as a four star property.

Quotes- "I thought that this was an immaculate hotel with a very local feel."   Roger Tinsman, July 2001
