Details-
An intimate and romantic 29 room hotel in the heart of
old Florence, the hotel overlooks the Ponte Vecchio and is just a
stroll away from the world famous Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace and Duomo. It has
a wonderful "Grand Tour / home away from home" atmosphere with a cozy sitting room
lobby on the fifth floor and a beautiful rooftop garden overlooking the Ponte
Vecchio and Arno River. On the outside it is a rather non descript building, but
once you enter and take the elevator to the fifth floor, you see the charm of
the experience that awaits you.
Notes-
Rooms vary in size, so ask for a superior room with a Jacuzzi tub facing the river, you'll
appreciate the relaxation after the walking you'll do. The
flower and vine filled roof garden is arguably one of the best in Florence with a great
setting for breakfast or a drink later in the day during the summer months.
All rooms are air conditioned, and
have satellite TV, telephone and safe.
The modern white tile bathrooms have hairdryers
and are well appointed.
