Details- The 16 doubles and 9 superior rooms of this small hotel in a late 15^th century building are all air-conditioned with phone, mini bar, TV and hairdryer. This hotel is in the heart of old Florence, between the Academia and the Duomo – two doors down from McDonald’s. It offers a convenient location and period detail. We suggest asking for a superior room that will give you more space and charm. The bathrooms are all very nice and well outfitted, and the lobby and public areas, such as the breakfast room, are attractive and bright. Some beautiful ceilings of dark wood beams or frescoes add elegance to some rooms and public spaces. It was fully renovated and soundproofed in 1994. Covered parking is available for an extra charge.
