Details- This is one of Venice’s most charming hotels and a favorite for regulars. Reservations should be made well in advance. Located on a small canal just off the Grand Canal, there is a lovely vine covered sitting area where you can enjoy shaded canal views with an afternoon drink. It is only a short walk from the Vaporetto Accademia stop on the Grand Canal. There is a small garden (a rarity in Venice) used for breakfast at the front of the hotel, and another in the rear. The hotel is a former seventeenth-century villa and still has old world charm. The family who owns and operates this hotel also runs two other hotels and a restaurant in Venice. We suggest the superior rooms which are spacious and decorated with antiques. There is also a small cottage room available at the back of the garden!
