A wonderful experience! It was a long haul, but we saw so many wonderful things it was worth it and I'm glad we added Venice! This was a great sampler plate of Italy. I enjoyed having the local guides. Their knowledge deepened the experience of the museums and towns for me.

I appreciated all you did for us and as always, having you two be our middle men takes out all of the annoying part of traveling for me. Making reservations, arrangements, etc., and having you to speak for the group if things don't go right is invaluable. Lisa J., Italy with Friends 2006

2005

I had a couple of reservations before taking this trip. One was that I normally don't travel in the summer due to heat; and the other is I have always traveled independently, and never with a group. So even though I was looking forward to the trip, and knew it would be fun, I never really got overly excited about going! Did I ever have some wonderful surprises!!!

First of all we couldn't have had any more delightful weather during our entire trip!! Secondly I found traveling with a group (at least this group) to be fantastic!!! Steven and Roger made such great arrangements during the whole two weeks, and all the varied activities offered something for everyone! I really enjoyed the group activities, as well as all the independent time we had to do our own exploring (and shopping!!!!).

All in all as much as I have traveled, I'd have to say this was one of the best trips I've ever taken, and I'll never forget all the fun times, and all of you! Mary M., Glorious Greece 2005
